Leave a Legacy
Through legacy planning, you can leave behind a gift of hope that transforms lives and ensures no one faces mental health challenges alone.
Mindful Giving Legacy Society
The Mindful Giving Legacy Society was created to recognize the generosity of individuals and families who have made or provided for planned gifts to NAMI DuPage. When you become a member of the Society, you create a legacy of caring for individuals and families living with mental illness that continues to inspire generosity in others. There is no minimum amount required to join, just a simple promise to remember NAMI DuPage as a component in your legacy gifts. Your generous gift will assure the long-term stability and financial strength necessary for us to continue to serve our mission.
For more information on planned giving, please contact Geri Kerger at 630-752-0066 or via email at g.kerger@namidupage.org.
If you have already made a planned gift, please use our legal name “NAMI of DuPage County, Illinois” as well as our Federal Tax ID: 36-3412057.
Hope Should Never End - This is My Legacy
“NAMI DuPage has been part of my life since its very early days. Over the years—as a board member, Board Chair, Interim Executive Director, and most importantly, as a family member—I’ve seen firsthand how critical this organization is for individuals living with mental illness and the people who love them.
My family’s journey taught me that mental illness doesn’t affect one person—it affects everyone around them. The classes, support groups, and welcoming community at NAMI DuPage helped make that journey less lonely, and I’ve watched countless other families find the same hope and strength.
Including NAMI DuPage in my estate plans is my way of ensuring that support continues long after I’m gone. It brings me joy and peace to know that future families seeking understanding, guidance, and connection will have somewhere to turn.
My hope is simple: that the work we’ve begun continues to grow, and that every person who calls NAMI DuPage finds compassion, community, and a path forward.”
