Peer Support
Peer support workers, called Recovery Support Specialists, are individuals who have been successful in their recovery process and help others experiencing similar situations. Through shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, these NAMI DuPage peer support workers help people enter and stay engaged in the recovery process.
Family support is also provided by our Family Partnership Professionals, who use their experience in supporting a loved one with a mental health condition to provide hope, resources and support.
Scheduling an Appointment
Support is available through a 1:1 session for individuals living with a mental health condition, and also for family members supporting a loved one with a mental health condition. We will work to match the best Recovery Support Specialist or Family Partnership Professional for you!
Appointment Fees
- Initial – $30
- Follow-up – $15
