Join us for a special haiku poetry event on Tuesday, July 18th, from 10-11:30 am.
Haiku is a type of short-form poetry originally from Japan. Traditional Japanese haiku consists of three phrases composed of 17 phonetic units in 5, 7, and 5 patterns; that includes a kireji, or “cutting word,”; and a kigo, or seasonal reference.
The class will take place in Room 105.
